Flow of Things

Poetry Dandelion against a sunset sky with seeds floating away with the wind

Restive
lying on the lap of the Wind
swirling with a rustle of paper leaves
rising and dipping like a kite unstrung
drifting whimsically like seeds of a dandelion,
a wish upon the heart
Boundless.

Spin a dance!
within the current of the Wind.
Step blithely!
 into the flow of Things.

Oh, what a beautiful surrender!
What a beautiful surrender it is.

  1. I am quite jealous of your ability to write vivid imagery without sounding flowery or glib. I wish to experience this beautiful surrender.

    1. Not sure about ability…but its simply associations to feelings.
Well I admire how unapologetically raw like your tone is…to each their own then XD

  2. I can feel a slight breeze and the lift of the dandelions on the air. This poem felt like surrender.
