Terrifyingly Alive.

Poetry A harp against cloudy skies

heart strings taut
vocal cords strummed
fingers plucking
the very air of silence
pulling in souls
consumed by grey days
like the pied piper

an artist in their element
beautifying the world
in colors and impressions,
little divine creations
words of enchantments
music, dance
and drunkenness
drawing those clouded eyes
to bloom in beauty and life!

So beautifully useless!
barely feeding the mouth
but for that brief
spellbinding moment
transcending all time,
damn does it not swell
souls with magic?!

How acutely
it brings into attention
that we are alive
terrifyingly so.

How wildly crazy
is that?
