A longing in the waters

Poetry A small island on far right side in a backdrop of sky clouded with thick shafts of light streaming down and the waters reflecting the sky clear

All the colors
lights and sounds.
The abundance
in the world.
The exuberance of nature
in the endless galaxies
Stars
People in all shades of mud.
Trees heavy,
 laden with fruits
drooping for a kiss.
More than we could ever need.

Wild animals!
Flowers scenting the air
in plethora of aromas
And don’t forget, under the Ocean
even the sky has many a name!

Yet loneliness tears me asunder
like an island of its own
broken from a land yonder
leaving a soft tune
of longing
deep in the waters.
 An open invite.

The door ajar
 as I wait
for an answering call
from Another
to swirl into
to thread into
with wonder upon wonder
worlds upon worlds.

An Eden of islands

And then, maybe
hear

God’s laughter
ringing
through our Soles..

  1. Beautiful piece… I know beautiful’s not quite the right word but it’s the one that comes to mind. It’s kind of the cheatsheet response to poetry isn’t it? But I’ll study more of your work until I won’t need one.

    1. I know! I know what you mean, sighs, beautiful is so short of a word for the many pieces I read…it’s just, there isn’t a word for the feelings that were evoked, and your left with…beautiful…yet it is so XD
      Thank you ❤
